How We Came To Be

New Providence Music Boosters was founded in 1990 by dedicated parents and community members.  From that time on, each member has recognized the opportunity to support the New Providence School District musical arts programs. Underlying all of our efforts is a deep understanding that our children’s musical education is to be treasured, fostered and supported.

What We Do

Since its inception, Music Boosters has worked to raise funds to provide meaningful support for the teachers and programs for the performing arts in New Providence Schools.

You can be a part of this musical experience by helping to provide funding for special projects such as:

• Artist in Residence; Internships

• Special Performance Funding

• Scholarships

• Supplemental Classroom Materials

• Other Musical Educational Opportunities (like performing opportunities and competitions)

 

We invite you to join this special organization to contribute to the musical life of the children of New Providence!

Each year, these fundraising efforts include Membership dues, an Annual Ice Cream Social, Merchandise Sales, Amazon Smile earnings, and Biennial Faculty Recital sales. By participating in Music Boosters, you help continue this work and provide parental involvement and support to the New Providence School District’s Music Department’s budget. Every child in the school system, grades Pre-K-12, benefits from your support of the activities of the New Providence Music Boosters. Your membership makes a big difference!
